Dear fam,
Sorry it has taken so long to write you. We came in on Wednesday and our P-Day isn't until Wednesday so it was a whole week before we were allowed to write. A ton has happened my companion es Elder Knighton. He is pretty cool. Everyone in my district calls us a married couple cuz we argue but we just do it jokingly. We only get 30 min. for e-mails and everybody wants to do it at the same time so I'll probably be sending mostly hand written letters until I get into the mission field. I'll be sending lots of pictures soon. I know how to pray in Spanish, bear my testimony in Spanish and give the first lesson and do street contacts. I can understand most of what is said to me, but I think I'm the worst at Spanish in my district. Everyone makes fun of me and calls me Gringo. I have the best district ever and the best teachers I wish you could meet Elder Larson. He is the funniest guy I have ever met and he looks like Beaker from the Muppets and Stuart Little put together and he plays the drums and beat boxes. He keeps us all entertained. So I share a room with my companion and Elder Hayes y Elder Pierce. They are pretty cool. I took one of Elder Hayes ties, it is awesome. Thank you for all the letters. I hope everyone has a good Christmas. Me and my companion are in the choir and we sang in the devotional last night. It was good. The best day so far was Sunday, a man named Ted Gibbons came and spoke. He told about the persecution of the saints and the story of Joseph Smith's death. It was very awesome and powerful. We aren't really allowed to listen to music in the MTC which is really lame so my companion plays the piano and we sing during MDT (Missionary Directed Time) other than all that we don't do anything except study and read the scriptures
